Brief History

The business 'Begonia Security' was formed in the early 1980's to provide a manpower service in the regional areas of Ballarat in Victoria. The primary focus of Begonia was to provide alarm response, alarm escort services, static guards, cash in transit and close quarter protection. In the 80's through to the 90's Begonia moved rapidly into electronic security and created Specialist Australian Security Group Pty Ltd as it is known today. Begonia Security still operates as a division of Specialist Australian Security Group.
